Geo Consulting
Geo Mission offers a strategic consulting service, which directly addresses the reputational risks resulting from stakeholder perceptions of a company’s attitudes and actions towards the natural environment.
Does the organisation know how it is viewed? Are the reputational risks identified and quantified? Is there a management & communications plan in place to manage, reduce and monitor these risks?
A comprehensive assessment of these perceptions is often the first step, covering both those of your stakeholders and of those parties seeking to influence them. Such a review provides the information and insight required to develop a pro-active management and communications plan.
In addition to this qualitative research and feedback from key audiences, our approach often includes the evaluation of current and potential NGO relationships, the identification of appropriate environmental partnerships, and recommendations for a bespoke communications programme.
For many, reactively ‘doing less bad’ by reducing environmental impacts such as carbon footprints, while necessary, does not provide the ‘communications content’ for effective positive influencing of stakeholders to build a company’s environmental credentials. An approach focused on ‘doing more good’ is increasingly the key to reducing risk exposure.
